Field Service Specialist, Digital & Smart Farming


We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic AGCO Technical Service team, a key sector within the AGCO Aftersales business.


This exciting and challenging role will be responsible for promoting the highest level of customer satisfaction and to ensure a proper support of all digital and smart farming solutions in the marketplace.  



  • Provide hands on product technical support.  AGCO solution (Fendt Guide, MF Guide, Valtra Guide), telemetry (AGCO Connect, Valtra Connect, Fendt Connect, MF Connect) and ISOBUS solutions.
  • Provide remote support via phone (Natterbox) or Tech Connect. 
  • Problem investigation through field visits.
  • Promoting customer satisfaction and customer loyalty
  • Conducting end user operator training to maximize product performance
  • Prepare concise field technical reports for all visits made in AGCO systems (Salesforce)
  • Assist with the coordination of field campaigns / repair programs ensuring that completion rates are achieved in line with company objectives.
  • Close cooperation with other functions - area managers à sales and commercial after sales (by phone and on-site)
  • Assist with providing Service Training to Dealer staff on digital products.
  • Provide Tech Help Desk by using our systems (Salesforce & Natterbox telephone system)



  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-3 years’ experience in technology and smart farming solution
  • Strong technical knowledge of technology and smart farming solution
  • Agricultural background with good technical & working knowledge of technology
  • Ability to apply engineering principles to resolve problems in the field / remotely
  • Good technical aptitude and willingness to take a hands-on approach
  • High standard of Spanish and English language and grammar is essential for written communications and presentations
  • Solid PC skill including Microsoft Software
  • European driving license
  • Excellent presentation and coaching skills
  • Flexible, team player, good attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic be highly motivated with strong customer focus and a desire to achieve result
  • Problem solving skills (ability to influence people – confident and assertive)



  • Percentage of travel required up to 50%
