As a key player in our regional team, you’ll be at the heart of our growth strategy—building strong dealer partnerships, customer engagement, and driving product adoption in your territory. You will work closely with the Region Manager Lead and Region Manager to bring our business plan to life, executing local strategies that deliver real results.

We are seeking a remote Product Specialist, ideally located in Victoria, though applicants from other regions will also be considered.

About the Role: 

The Product Specialist is a key tactical and customer-focused role that drives the company's growth with the PTx portfolio. They build and strengthen dealer and customer relationships to enhance product penetration within a specific geography. As a vital member of the Region, they collaborate closely with the Region Manager Lead and Region Manager to execute local strategies, focusing on customer loyalty and retention through lead management, product training, and demonstrations. Their efforts support both wholesale and retail success, aligning with the annual business plan. 
The primary focus of the Product Specialist is product optimization where their knowledge is used to train and support the dealership sales personnel to successfully sell PTx’s products and help to ensure dealers and customers get the right product for their operation and use that product to its fullest extent. 
   
 

To create impact, the Product Specialist; 

  • Provides Product Sales & Operation Training on local basis. 

  • Supports dealers in planning, executing and following up with customer demonstrations 

  • Supports dealers with personalized customer demonstrations which highlight and promote discussions tailored to end-user applications. 

  • Develops relationships between key end-use customers, dealers, and PTx 

  • Supports dealers with open houses, clinics, field days and other local customer events. 

  • Supports dealers with customer visits to build relationships, collect VOC information, prospect or qualify leads. 

As an extension of PTx’s tactical departments the Product Specialist; 

  • Champions the PTx product suite and promotes and support the PTx product suite across various agricultural processes, including land preparation, planting, water management, crop protection, nutrient application, and harvesting. 

  • Builds and strengthen dealer partnerships by developing and enhancing relationships with dealers to expand product reach and drive market penetration 

  • Delivers engaging product demos and training and provide product demonstrations and training sessions that align customer needs with smart solutions. 

  • Drives wholesale and retail success and manages leads, enable sales, and engage customers to ensure success in both wholesale and retail sectors 

  • Collaborates with sales teams to work with sales teams to enhance product value and support the annual business plan. 

Ideally our new Product Specialist will bring the following experience and qualification; 

  • Deep understanding of the agricultural market with knowledge of market dynamics and trends 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with a proven track record in sales, customer service, or technical support roles, with a focus on driving sales growth and managing distributor relationships 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically strong in Excel and Salesforce experience is preferred 

  • Ability to build trusted business relationships with dealers to understanding their business and driving improvement. 

  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills and provide strategic issue resolution. 

  • Be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, employees, dealers, and end-users. 

  • Preferred experience would be from an agricultural company or having experience working on a farm.
