AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of  Electrical Harness Design Engineer.

AGCO is looking for a self-motivated and technically skilled candidate for the position of Electrical Harness Design Engineer to support the development of electrical systems for AGCO machinery, including tractors and similar agricultural products/solutions. This role focuses on electrical system design, component selection, integration, and support through the product lifecycle, from concept to production release. As part of the engineering team, you will contribute to the creation of electrical system designs from concept through production, including CAD modeling, cabling, component selection, and integration support. The role requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles as well as real world application in heavy machinery or automotive systems. On a necessary basis the individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams mechanical, software, validation, manufacturing, and supply chain to ensure that the electrical design aligns with overall system requirements, meets compliance standards, and supports efficient manufacturability and serviceability. You will be involved in hands-on design activities, support testing and troubleshooting, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Occasional collaboration with suppliers and mentoring of junior team members may be expected.

Your Impact

• Create detailed electrical CAD models, wiring diagrams, and integration drawings.

• Mechanical, Electrical, Software, and Manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and compatibility.

• Assist in defining specifications and selecting components such as sensors, controllers, relays, switches, connectors, etc.

• Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, and risk assessments.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (ISO, SAE, CE, EMC, etc.).

   

Your Experience and Qualifications 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Total 10+ years of experience in engineering design and minimum 6+ years of experience with Electrical domain within a global organization, preferably in Off-higway or automotive domain.

• Proficiency in Creo, Creo cabling, E3 Zuken and Windchill is Mandatory, working knowledge of E3 Zuken Harness Software is preferred.

• Experience working in Agile methodologies is an added advantage.
