AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of  Electrical Harness Design Engineer.

AGCO is looking for a self-motivated and technically skilled candidate for the position of Electrical Harness Design Engineer to support the development of electrical systems for AGCO machinery, including tractors and similar agricultural products/solutions. This role focuses on electrical system design, component selection, integration, and support through the product lifecycle, from concept to production release.

 

Your Impact

  • Design and Develop Electrical Systems and Harnesses: Create detailed CAD models, wiring diagrams, and integration drawings using tools like Creo and E3 Zuken.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with mechanical, software, electrical, and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and system compatibility.
  • Ensure Compliance with Industry Standards: Apply standards such as ISO, SAE, CE, and EMC throughout the design and validation process.
  • Define Specifications and Select Components: Assist in choosing sensors, controllers, connectors, and other components; participate in design reviews, DFMEA, and risk assessments.
  • Support Issue Resolution and Documentation: Contribute to lab-based troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Collaborate with suppliers to evaluate, select, and qualify components and subsystems. Maintain documentation for design changes, BOM, and technical manuals. Apply engineering best practices to support continuous improvement. 

 

Your Experience and Qualifications 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

  • Experience: 3–8 years in engineering design, preferably in the off-highway or automotive domain within a global organization.

  • Tool Proficiency: Mandatory expertise in Creo, Creo Cabling, E3 Zuken, and Windchill; working knowledge of E3 Zuken Harness Software is preferred.

  • Process Familiarity: Experience working in Agile methodologies is a plus.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with global cross-functional teams.
