AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Embedded software verification engineer

 

In this role, you will be responsible for the reliability of embedded software modules by designing test scenarii, writing, maintaining, and executing unit tests on embedded software of both legacy and new product platforms. Your work will span three core areas:

1. C and Simulink based software components unit tests design
2. Tests execution and result analysis
3. Being the interface of the team with CI/CD and SIL/HIL validation teams to automate and integrate the testing process

You will collaborate with global teams. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability, efficiency, and innovation of AGCO’s agricultural solutions—empowering farmers worldwide to operate smarter and more sustainably.

Your Impact 

  • The embedded software verification engineer will be responsible for defining the unit tests ensuring the first level of reliability of the team delivered sw components.

  • He/Her will have to analyse the sw modules and the system use cases to define the relevant testing scenarii.

  • He/Her will be in charge of coding tests using Google test or Simulink, execute and maintain them.

  • In addition, the embedded software verification engineer will be responsible for automating and integrating the test cases within the software developpement process. 

 

Your Experience and Qualifications 

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field  

  • 6+ years of experience in automotive or off-highway embedded software development or verification. Agriculture machinery knowledge is a beneficial but not mandatory.

  • Strong experience in unit tests definition using Google test. Familiarity with Simulink

  • Strong proficiency in Embedded C programming is essential, with a minimum of two years of experience in system-level software design. Experience in AUTOSAR and MBD is beneficial but not mandatory.

  • Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) tools and HIL/SIL testing.
