AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Manager Product Integrity. 

 

The Metrology Lab Manager – Product integrity will lead a World Class metrology hub as an integral component of AGCO's supplier quality initiatives, sourcing strategies and efficiencies pursuant to AGCO's Farmer First model and NPS aspirations. The Metrology Lab Manager will be responsible for all elements of the Metrology Lab extending from the inspection equipment, lab employees, compliance to industry standards, facility competency, lab process flow, efficiency, safety and lab site communications between AGCO manufacturing locations. The Metrology Lab Manager will ensure that the Lab has the highest level of employee technical competencies, the inspection equipment is capable to meet AGCO's stringent standards, the inspection equipment is maintained and calibrated based standards and the lab meets the necessary qualifications and standards for quality assurance. The metrology lab will be multifaceted in that both dimensional inspection as well as metallurgical inspection will be completed by the site with the Lab Manager to have leadership over all technologies. The Metrology Lab Manager will have a vision and capability to advance the lab with continual innovation in processes and equipment to mirror the changing demands of AGCO sourcing strategies, technology and product quality. The position must effectively and efficiently collaborate globally with Regional Supplier Quality teams, Global Purchasing, Manufacturing as well as the varying elements of a Supplier / Supplier's Quality to attain the necessary quality and performance levels that fulfill AGCO's "Farmer First" vision. The incumbent requires a strong acumen and engagement with all AGCO (manufacturing sites, regions, business functions, roles, and responsibilities) to be able to manage the Lab Team to operate effectively across functions, countries, and brands. The incumbent is expected to have proven experience in developing and managing a reputable and significant metrology lab, as well as excellent analytical skills to be able to understand the requirements and specifications for AGCO product

 

Your Impact

  • Management of Metallurgy related topics.
  • Responsible for Quality of Lab Work and Performance of Metallurgy equipments [1. Sample Validation for PPAP’s, 2. Calibration of Equipments].
  • Prioritize & on time closures of PPAP. Work Global solutions to create Metallurgy standards.
  • Communication with factories to resolve challenges and / or action items.
  • Apply EHS / 5S compliance to the Metrology Lab Manage and Project budget needs inclusive of OpEx and CapEx .

 

Your Experience and Qualifications 

  • 12 years experience in Durable Goods, Heavy Equipment and / or Agriculture industry with a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Automobile Engineering.

  • 8 years experience in operating moderns Metallurgy inspection equipment . 5 years in managing a robust metrology inspection lab.

  • Expansive knowledge of advanced inspection equipment inclusive of tolerance, application, calibration, set up.

  • Robust competency to apply quality guidelines and standards.

  • Experience in successfully interfacing within a large Global enterprise across multiple support sites and functions Strong leadership skill and discipline
