AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Product Cybersecurity Engineer.
At AGCO, the Product Security team is at the forefront of securing our next-generation agricultural machinery. Our core mission is to design and deliver secure, user-friendly, and connected products that meet global cybersecurity standards. By embedding security into the product lifecycle—from concept to deployment—we help protect farmers’ data, ensure product integrity, and support AGCO’s commitment to smart farming innovation.
Your Impact
- Ensure the cybersecurity of our connected vehicles and products in alignment with ISO 24882, ISO 21434, ISO 24089, EU RED, EU CRA. Help define a product's cybersecurity concept and goals.
- Build threat models using TARA or STRIDE methodologies, applying practical risk analysis tailored to embedded and connected systems. Conduct security reviews including data flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, and product documentation.
- Perform risk assessments and collaborate on mitigation strategies to support secure product development. Research emerging security topics and technologies relevant to the assigned product line - Contribute to secure design, architecture, implementation, and review.
- Engage with third-party vendors to run assessments, tests etc. Take ownership of cybersecurity outcomes for assigned projects, ensure compliance by assigned product teams.
- Create and maintain security guidance and documentation, and support product teams in achieving compliance through regular reviews and collaboration.
Your Experience and Qualifications

Industry Experience: 3-8 years of hands-on embedded security engineering experience, with a strong learning curve demonstrated in Automotive, Ag or off-highway or connected vehicle domains.

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of vehicle communication protocols (CAN, J1939, WiFi, BTLE) and experience with cryptographic protocols, Secure Boot, Software Signing, and OTA updates.

Security Awareness: Familiarity with key vulnerability frameworks including OWASP Top 10, OWASP IoT Top 10, and CWE Top 25.

Core Competencies: Strong preference for outcome-oriented thinking and risk-aware mindset, with strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills across independent and cross-functional.

Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
