AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Product Owner, Product Data. 

The Product Owner for the Global Product Hierarchy (GPH) is responsible for the strategic development, maintenance, and harmonization of AGCOs product hierarchy data structure within our global enterprise environment. This role acts as the central interface between business, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure a unified, consistent, and globally usable product hierarchy

Your Impact 

• Customer & Product Ownership:  Represent customer and stakeholder needs across the full development lifecycle, acting as the product owner for the Global Product Hierarchy (GPH) as the single source of truth for all customer- and dealer-facing systems.

• Data & Platform Enablement: Own the development, maintenance, and technical enablement of the GPH, ensuring data harmonization, quality, and consistency across systems and regions; lead and coordinate integration of new systems and regions into the GPH ecosystem.

• Backlog & Delivery Management: Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog; write and refine user stories; lead sprint backlog grooming; sequence work by managing dependencies and enabler stories in collaboration with other product owners and technical teams.

• Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with business stakeholders (e.g., Demand, Pricing, Customer Experience, Supply Chain), development teams, data governance, and MDM; communicate and champion the product roadmap throughout development.

• Operational Excellence & Adoption: Troubleshoot issues and drive resolution, monitor and report KPIs related to GPH usage and data quality, and support training and communication initiatives to ensure effective adoption of GPH across the organization.

Your Experience and Qualifications 

• Education & Product Ownership Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (advanced degree preferred), with several years of experience as a Product Owner, ideally focused on master data management.

• Data & Enterprise Systems Expertise: Extensive experience in data warehousing, integration architecture, and ERP environments (e.g., SAP), including hands-on exposure to platforms such as SAP Hybris, Databricks, or similar technologies.

• Integration & Platform Knowledge: Strong experience with enterprise integration and data platforms, with exposure to Salesforce, Informatica, and/or comparable integration solutions considered a plus.

• Business, Change & International Experience: Proven experience in change management and international project environments, with a solid understanding of data requirements across diverse business functions.

• Communication & Delivery Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders, combined with strong organizational and project management capabilities and a results-driven mindset.
