AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Program Manager, ABS Automation.

The ABS Automation Lead is responsible for driving the implementation and scale-up of automation and digitization of business process initiatives, optimizing processes, and leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency and support the organization's strategic goals.

 

Your Impact

  • Automation Funnel Management
    • Manages the overall automation business process improvement funnel for AGCO (what business process when should be automated, with what impact and resource needs)
    • Collects identified opportunities from functional process experts
    • Defines and manages process evaluation process and scoring criteria for process evaluation
    • Coordinates prioritization activities between functions, IT and ensures alignment to overall corporate goals (e.g. SBP)
  • Process Analytics
    • Analyze current business processes and identify efficiency improvement opportunities through standardization, automation, offshoring or outsourcing
  • Solution Design
    • Support development and implementation of automation solutions using tools such as RPA (Robotic Process Automation), AI, and machine learning
  • Implement Automation Technologies / Project Management
    • Ensuring the successful implementation of automation technologies (with focus on processes managed by ABS)
    • Implementing continuous improvement projects and measures in collaboration with functional ABS leads and operations excellence team
    • Collaborate with cross functional teams (e.g. IT, business functions, ABS) to identify improvement opportunities and to identify requirements
    • Conducting Performance Improvement Projects: Leading continuous performance improvement projects focusing on harmonization, standardization, and robotics automation
    • Ensures stakeholder engagement and manages expectations
  • Driving Automation Scale-Up
    • Identifying new opportunities to accelerate automation scale-up: Implementing automation strategies to support a digital-first business model and managing roadmap
  • Technology Integration and Innovation
    • Leveraging New Technologies: Integrating technology and digitization into ABS operations, redesigning processes to support a digital/automation-first model, and managing a globally distributed workforce
    • Developing Automation Programs: Creating and implementing long-term agendas for larger-scale automation and robotics programs to enhance operational efficiency

 

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience in business process automation or a related role.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in automation technologies (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere)
  • Technology proficient: capable of understanding and leveraging technology to complete work; aware of latest innovations in technology and automation
  • Cross-functional collaboration: ability to work cross-functionally and manage stakeholders to implement automation-enabled initiatives
  • Project Management
