Senior Engineer - Software Validation Engineer

AGCO Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Software Validation Engineer to join our EE Validation team. This role focuses on the development and implementation of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems using real time machines platforms for embedded systems. The successful candidate will lead validation efforts, design new testing structures, and coordinate technician activities while collaborating with a global engineering team. Candidate should have a Knowledge of ISO standards related to software validation and functional safety. He shroud have experience in diagnostic and testing using CAnalyzer, CANoe, CAPL. He should have experience with real time simulation and data acquisition systems. Candidate with experience in agricultural machinery or off-highway vehicle systems is preferred.

Your Impact 

• Design, develop, and maintain HIL systems using Speedgoat for embedded control systems in agricultural equipment.
• Lead and coordinate daily activities of validation technicians, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to align validation strategies and share best practices.  
• Analyze system requirements and develop validation plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
• Document validation results and provide feedback to development teams for continuous improvement.

Your Experience and Qualifications 

• Bachelor degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Proven experience with HIL systems, preferably using Speedgoat or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems and control software for agricultural or industrial machinery.
• Experience in leading technician teams and managing validation workflows.  
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and scripting languages (e.g., Python, C/C++) is a plus.
