AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Senior Engineer.
Your Impact
- Lead the design and development of driveline systems for tractor applications, ensuring alignment with performance requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Design and optimize transmission and gearbox systems, including gear selection, ratios, and layout, to ensure efficient power transmission and smooth operation across various operating conditions.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports, to communicate design concepts, analysis results, and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate driveline components with other tractor subsystems, ensuring seamless operation and compatibility with overall vehicle design.
- Ensure high-quality design delivery by applying “first-time-right” principles and industry best practices throughout the driveline development process, resulting in robust and reliable tractor products.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred) with 10+ years of experience in transmission and driveline design.
- Proven experience in driveline system design and development, preferably within the agricultural machinery or automotive sector.
- Proficiency in CAD software for 3D modeling and simulation tools for driveline analysis (PTC CREO preferred).
- Strong knowledge of driveline components, tribology, material science, and system integration principles. Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and Design for Manufacturability (DFM). Hands-on experience with KISSsoft and/or Romax for gear and driveline simulation. And in-depth understanding of gear, casting, and forging manufacturing processes
