AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Operational lead (Supervisor, Purchasing).

 

As the Operational Procurement Team Lead, you will lead a team responsible for executing Procurement activities within our ERP systems, maintaining essential procurement data, and managing supplier relationships to expedite orders. Your leadership will ensure that the team meets performance targets, adheres to compliance standards, and contributes to the optimization of our global procurement processes.

 

Your Impact

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operational Procurement professionals.
  • Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide feedback to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Oversee the creation of Procurement documents in ERP systems like SAP and JDE following RFQ awards.
  • Ensure all purchase orders (POs) and related documents are accurate, timely, and comply with company policies.
  • Oversee the confirmation and acknowledgment of POs with suppliers and Manage the expediting of parts on new POs to meet critical timeline
  • Ensure the accurate maintenance of procurement data in ERP systems, including pricing, Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ), and lead times.
  • Monitor data integrity and implement improvements as needed.
  • Oversee the data maintenance of internal Procurement tools based on inputs from category buyers.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements within the operational Procurement function.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, KPIs, and operational metrics to senior management.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor`s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field / a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Relevant Min 5 years of professional experience in procurement or supply chain operations with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically SAP and JDE.
  • Strong understanding of global procurement processes and best practices, knowledge of compliance regulations and risk management.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills and excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
