AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Validation Engineer (CFD).
We are seeking a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Engineer with good experience in fluid flow, thermal, and aerodynamics simulations for advanced engineering applications. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in CFD analysis, modeling, and validation, using Star CCM+ software. This role requires strong analytical skills, preprocessing ; geometry cleanup, meshing model, extracting boundaries, flow setup definitions. Candidate must have a understanding of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and turbulence modeling. As a CFD Engineer, you will work closely with design, R&D, and testing teams to support design improvements and ensure products meet performance and regulatory standards. Your support will be crucial in solving engineering problems related to fluid dynamics, thermal management, and aerodynamics across various industries, including automotive, aerospace, electronics cooling, and energy systems.
Your Impact
- CFD Analysis & Simulation: Perform high-fidelity CFD simulations for fluid flow, heat transfer, and aerodynamics using software Star-CCM+.
- Pre-Processing & Meshing: Generate high-quality computational meshes using tools like Creo & Start CCM+ to ensure accurate simulation results.
- Post-Processing & Data Interpretation: Interpret simulation results using visualization tools (ParaView, Tecplot, CFD-Post) and provide actionable design recommendations.
- Model Validation & Testing: Correlate CFD results with experimental data and physical testing to improve model accuracy and reliability.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare technical reports, design reviews, and presentations to communicate CFD findings and recommendations.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in CFD analysis and simulation.
- Technical Expertise:Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and turbulence modeling.
- Expertise in CFD software Star-CCM+ & Creo for Model generation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
