Validation Engineer

AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Validation Engineer. 

We are looking for a highly motivated test engineer to contribute to the following topics regarding improving the test automation framework:

- Creating new functionalities in AGCOs test framework using Python

- Maintaining AGCOs test framework

- Developing virtual ECUs to support early testing of software 

Your Impact 

• Clarify new needs for test automation framework.
• Exchange and communicate with software tester globally.
• Define the solution and create the needed Python scripts.
• Identify and create solutions for virtualized ECUs.
• Visualize and communicate the progress. 

Your Experience and Qualifications 

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or computer science or similar.

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in Python and Test framework.

• Knowledge in these topics is needed: Usage of test automation framework and understanding the needs, Strong proficiency in python and good understanding in handling of REST API, Experience in defining, designing and executing unit tests & strong problem solving skills and analytical thinking.

• Knowledge in these topics would be beneficial: Familiarity with software engineering methods (version control, design patterns, test-driven development), Bus systems like CAN and LIN, CANoe, language skills in German,

• Experience with AI prompts, HIL Testing, GIT, proficiency in C
