The Project Manager is responsible for the flow of the order from the order acquisition to the completion of the supply and installation in accordance with the sales contract.
- He/She is accountable for defining the timing of execution and for the processing of the GANTT plan and its updating.
- His/Her job is to facilitate the flow of information between the different departments (such as sales, engineering, operations/logistics, plant installers) with the aim to eliminate any kind of waste of resources in accordance with the defined schedule.
- The Project Manager is the customer referent for all technical-operational aspects of the order in accordance with the sales manager.
- The Project Manager coordinates with the design engineers, ensuring clarity of technical specifications and with the logistics to guarantee a material flow in line with the installation needs and in accordance to the installation plan.
- He/She is accountable for the coordination and the work progress of the installation and follows the start-up and final test phases of the supplied plant.
- It is his/her duty to obtain the final test certificate from the customer.
- The Project manager checks the completeness of the technical specifications in respect to the requirements of the signed contract.
- Develops the project plan by coordinating with sales, engineering and operations / logistics and, in agreement with sales, he/she communicates it to the customer.
- He/ She monitors the state of progress of the project and agrees with all the involved functions, if needed, corrective actions.
- He/ She also monitors the advancement of the customer activities by verifying compliance with the project master plan and the requirements provided.
- The Project Manager elaborates the documentation required for the start of the work site at the customer in relation to the contract .
- In according with the logistics he/she guarantees the continuity of the flow of material on the work site. It is his/her duty to manage any non-conformities that arise during the assembly, promptly defining corrective actions. The Project Manager supervises the start-up of the plant and elaborates the test and acceptance certificates where required.
Minimum qualifications:
Engineering background with at least 3 years experience in a similar role
Agricultural /Infrastructures/ Machinery background is a plus
Good english written and spoken
Availability to travel up to 20% worldwide
Full driving license
