As Manager Product Management, you’ll take care of a team responsible for different parts of the Agricultural crop production cycle. Your primary responsibility will be to create the environment, processes and support to enable your team to effectively execute the following functions.

Your Impact

• You leverage industry standard practices such as market segmentation, competitive analysis and market research to develop a deep understanding of the precision agriculture and broader agriculture technology landscape, identify and classify opportunities and educate the broader business on market trends, cycles and events
• You engage with our reseller channel, OEMs and end customers all to develop a better understanding of the farmer, their challenges, pain points and opportunities to deliver differentiated value
• You apply market and customer understanding in combination with business goals to define product vision, strategies and roadmaps that enable that vision. You socialize and promote this vision and plan internally to develop alignment, buy-in and the inspiration required to drive execution
• You collaborate with OEM customers, fellow Product Managers, Product Owners, UX Designers and Architects and Engineers to define and design the solutions that address the most compelling challenges of the farmer
• You engage with technical teams to support solution delivery, by ensuring alignment of solution architecture and designs with value propositions targeted
• You develop Go-To-Market plans by collaborating with the Trimble Ag Product Marketing and Marcom teams on targeted market segments and new feature value propositions
• You support sales and marketing with product knowledge by representing Trimble Agriculture in industry events, customer or partner meetings

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager or equivalent experience leading product discovery and product delivery
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Agriculture, Agronomy Computer Science, Business, Marketing or Engineering
• Familiarity and field experience with seeding, planting and / or spraying workflows
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams
• Experience working both with a distribution channel as well as direct channel is preferred
• Ability to influence teams to achieve required outcomes

Your Workplace

You will be located in Salzkotten area, Germany and in the office 4 – 5 days a week. Travel could be 10 – 25% of the time depending on needs of customers or phase of product development.
