Your impact

  • O Responsible for development and implementation of best-in-class logistics practices which support the organization's goals. support of AGCO Corporations short- and long-term strategic objectives. Logistics team will support the AGCO Supply Chain long term strategy by providing an optimized and balanced approach between cost and service in the areas of inventory management, continuous improvement, internal / external supplier performance, Industry 4.0 technology utilization, ERP software utilization and others . He/she works collaboratively across the organization to define, implement, and solve complex problems by providing thought leadership and influencing skills. In addition, the Logistics Manager will be responsible to define, develop and implement the strategy for standardized Materials and Logistics processes including IT solutions standards in the AGCO units. This includes also defining and implementing AGCO´s Materials and Logistics requirements to the supplier network to improve material costs, cash flow, supplier performance and quality. Lead focused efforts aimed at breakthrough and incremental improvements in logistic process, specific opportunities that meet and exceed plants operational performance metrics.

 

  • Responsible for improving internal logistics service levels, developing and updating standardized processes, optimizing logistics costs, and managing inventory, including packaging development and strategic initiatives for materials replenishment. Leads projects to increase the use of technology across processes, from suppliers to internal logistics areas (receiving, storage, and picking). Supports the creation and implementation of best-practice logistics vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures. Improves Warehouse Management System (WMS) functionality to enhance productivity in internal logistics operations. Implements industry standards and best practices to reduce costs, improve customer experience, and enable scalability and business growth. Conducts optimized packaging processes from the supply chain to AGCO sites, including internal processes (Kanban and ITS). Trains site logistics and engineering logistics team members as needed. Creates and implements best-practice principles, policies, and processes across the organization to improve operational and financial performance. Designs materials management and logistics processes to achieve optimized cost levels for handling, inventory, freight, and service levels.

 

 

 

Your experience and qualifications

       • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. MBA or specialization in Operations Management or Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
