Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced AI/ML Software Engineer to join our Commercial Cloud Software Development Team. Success on this team requires advanced software development skills, familiarity with event driven frameworks, AWS Services, microservice management, mentorship and a passion for out of the box thinking that drives innovative solutions. In this role you’ll be responsible for developing AI applications that enhance our customer experience and improve efficiency across the organization.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Develop AI applications to automate routine tasks and improve customer service
- Train and refine AI algorithms using natural language processing
- Develop and implement data-driven models using ML and other statistical techniques
- Desire to design, develop, and test new and/or existing serverless solutions leveraging cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate to uncover key product problems, identify possible solutions, gather feedback, and deliver the right solutions.
- Provides support for problem/issue resolution and provides technical consultation and direction to business and product team members.
- Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
3+ years’ experience in AI development and Natural Language Processing -
2+ years’ experience with JavaScript, Java or other object-oriented programming language

Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques

Experience building machine learning applications and utilizing machine learning APIs, tools and open-source libraries
Preferred Qualifications:
-
AWS Experience in traditional and serverless offerings: EC2, Lambda, Aurora DB, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3, EventBridge

Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Node.js, SQL, PHP

Experience with Build and CI/CD technologies: NPM, CDK, AWS Pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD

Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
