The Senior Manager, Learning and Development—Commercial Sales will lead the design and execution of global employee development initiatives that directly support AGCO’s commercial sales strategy. This role partners with AGCO University, Commercial Sales Leadership, the Global Talent Team, and HR Business Partners to identify, implement, and measure programs that strengthen sales performance and operational efficiency.
Success in this role requires strong project leadership, stakeholder engagement, and a strategic mindset focused on advancing AGCO’s commercial sales capabilities globally.
Your Impact
- Developing and executing an integrated training and development strategy to ensure AGCO’s commercial sales teams possess industry-leading skills, knowledge, and competencies aligned with the Farmer-First strategy.
- Collaborating closely with business leaders and functional experts to assess training needs, define measurable goals, and ensure alignment with AGCO’s strategic workforce planning.
- Overseeing the effective deployment and delivery of global training initiatives, ensuring they are tailored to the needs of diverse audiences and drive measurable business outcomes.
- Managing program resources and leading cross-functional project teams to ensure the successful implementation of learning and development programs and change management initiatives.
- Continuously evaluating the effectiveness of learning solutions, leveraging data and stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in studies related to related to Education, Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Agriculture, or Business Administration or at least ten years’ experience working in a talent or learning function or agriculture background with experience in training & development developing learnings concepts within different functional areas.
- Extensive experience working in a sales and learning function with experience in training & development, selling best practices and sales funnel management, including managing learning within a large global scope.
- Experience in training & development related leadership development & knowledge of sales experience Agriculture, Farming, and Machinery.
- Understanding of Learning Management Systems, CRM systems (Salesforce), and pricing.
- Project management experience with positive drive to influence various stakeholders.
- High customer orientation, expert facilitation skills and proactive, problem-solving attitude and entrepreneurial thinking and experience working in multinational industrial companies in a cross-cultural environment
