Sr. Product Security Engineer

The Product Security team is primarily responsible for designing secure user friendly and connected agricultural equipment and products in an agile fashion in cooperation with product management and engineering teams.  Our products are complex vehicles, with cutting edge technology that is highly connected.  A background in embedded systems, IoT/IIoT, or connected vehicles is required.

This position is fully remote. 

What You Will Do:

• Ensure the cybersecurity of our connected vehicles and products is in alignment with ISO 21434, ISO 24089, EU RED, and the EU CRA
• Help define a products cybersecurity concept and goals.
• Build threat models using TARA or STRIDE methodology as appropriate.
• Security Review: Data flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, product documentation
• Risk assessment
• Researching security topics relevant to assigned product line.
• Secure design, architecture, implementation and review
• Engage with 3rd parties to run assessments, tests etc.
• Responsible for projects cybersecurity outcome
• Create security guidance and documentation. Ensure compliance by assigned product teams.

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in technical engineering, Computer Science or equivalent (or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)
• Background in embedded security engineering
• Direct experience with vehicle technologies such as CAN, J1939, WiFi, BTLE,
• Familiarity/experience with OWASP Top 10/ OWASP IoT Top 10 / CWE Top 25 vulnerabilities
• Knowledge/experience of common data and/or cryptographic protocols, Secure Boot, Software Signing, OTA updates
• Strong preference for outcome-oriented thinking

A Plus If You Have:

• Agricultural / Ag-Security background or experience
• Industry certifications: Sec+, CEH, EJPT, GIAC, GPEN, Pentest+, CND, AWS or other cloud certs
• Software development / system design experience
• Affiliation with a known entity that can publicly vouch for skillset.
• Scrum/Agile experience or training
