Forecasting & Planning Specialist, Global Parts 
Stoneleigh, Warwickshire
Full-time/Permanent Position

 

 

Our F&P team is looking for a quick-learner with prior experience in inventory management, demand and supply planning or procurement functions. The F&P Specialist will review their portfolio to ensure the statistically determined forecasts are suitable/relevant and will amend as necessary. They will also be expected to recognize changes in customer demand and pro-actively adjust the forecast to ensure ongoing stable supply.
 

F&P have daily interaction with all other Supply Chain functions (Master Data Management, New Product Introduction, Purchasing & Procurement) as well as frequent contact with Sales and Marketing and Operations functions. Together with the other F&P Specialists in the team (5) AGCO EME Parts target a 98% Network fill rate on the 800k parts currently available for sale. 



Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Monitoring forecasts and amending as necessary

  • Executing New Product Introduction requests across the AGCO Parts warehouse network

  • Controlling Product Support Programme requirements

  • Undertaking lost-fill analysis to determine why a backorder occurred

  • Analysing recommended & firm Purchase Orders to identify risks to supply

  • Conduct ad hoc analysis on inventory holdings as required or as directed

  • Support the implementation of inventory strategy / inventory reduction activities

  • Close collaboration with Buyers/Procurement Specialists to evaluate anticipated supply issues

  • Controlling Abnormal Sales order allocation & release

     

Minimum Qualification:

 

  • Bachelors degree in a numerical discipline

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience and ability within a Demand Planning role

  • Very strong MS Excel skills mandatory

  • Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL, R or Python would be an advantage
