IT Analyst II – Scrum Master

Job Summary

The IT Analyst II – Scrum Master is an integral part of the Product Teams in the Agile Software Delivery Process. They are a servant leader who helps the teams achieve their goal through constant coaching, mentoring, and smooth facilitation of processes. They ensure that the team is focused and knows the tasks they must accomplish in the time given. The role calls for the facilitation of team and program-level events for effective program execution.

 

Job Function and Knowledge:

 

  • Assist in overall program/project planning and ensure cross-team dependencies are well-understood and modelled in project plans and timelines
  • Identify, document, and publish risks and issues related to the overall program and to define resolution paths where required
  • Resolve cross-team impediments and blocking issues in a global solution train collaboration with other scrum teams
  • Collect and consolidate cross-team status for delivery to global – multi-brand stakeholders and executive management
  • Schedule and conduct meetings and ceremonies in accordance with best practices for Agile/Scrum software development
  • Responsible for building team collaboration and viewing team needs above everything else
  • Ensure in time & quality delivery of committed milestones to guarantee contribution to a multi-scrum team product
  • Continuously work to improve team performance and productivity
  • Encourage team accountability, self-organization, and empowerment
  • Share common Agile practices
  • Promote and support the development team’s automated processes
  • Facilitate Retrospectives which generate new ideas for process improvement and present them to PM/PO level
  • Maintain relevant metrics that guide the development team to more efficient processes in their work and in satisfying their Product Owner and stakeholders
  • Maintain effective information radiators that aid transparency and encourage clear communication between the global development team, the Product Owner, and stakeholders
  • Active participant in the global scrum chapters to share and learn new agile concepts.
  • Align your team in a global Agile Release Train setup for joined product delivery
  • Active participation and preparation for agile ceremonies such as Product Increment Planning, Sprint Planning, Refinements, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives
  • Responsibility for compliance with all AGCO guidelines by all employees and teams, as well as compliance with all control processes and standards

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor`s / Master`s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or equivalent education
  • Post qualified experience in software development projects
  • Ability to analyse and think quickly and to resolve conflict
  • Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum
  • Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not
  • Experience with successful Agile techniques
  • Ability to work with and lead a team in a global ART setup
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction
  • Knowledge and experience of DevOps and agile methods (e.g. SAFe)
  • Knowledge of project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps) advantageous
  • Ideally prior experience in Web Portals and Content Management Systems
