IT System Support Engineer III - Voice Services

Hybrid Working – Stoneleigh

 

Job Summary

 

The IT System Support Engineer III - Voice Services, alongside the voice team, will be responsible for supporting and implementation of AGCO global voice solutions.  This position will support our EAME region primarily, however, will work within a global team for supporting all global systems.  The Voice Engineer will support several telecommunication products, such as Microsoft Teams, Cisco CUCM, Cisco Unity, Cisco UCCX.

 

Job Function and Knowledge

 

  • Ensure day to day operation and reliability of enterprise voice solutions which includes installation, maintenance, and management of all voice equipment: Voice servers, gateways, PBX systems, circuits and voice diagnostic tools.
  • Work with a lower level of voice support and other team members to train and support the enterprise voice environment.
  • Work with vendors, clients, carriers and team on voice projects
  • Provide insight, recommendations, and guidance on voice enhancements and projects
  • Voice preventative action items
  • Produce and maintain documentation of voice environment
  • Keep the knowledge base and documentation for the team updated with new resolution and processes appropriately.
  • Ability to understand end users' requirements, concerns and manage interaction between different parties
  • Proactive person with excellent communication skills
  • Emphatic and positive person with a "can do" attitude
  • Experience with ticketing tools in managing incidents and requests.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple work activities and meet target deadlines
  • Ability to share knowledge and mentor and manage less experienced team members.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • University degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent academic, or on-the-job experience.

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Post qualified experience of working on Cisco Voice technologies: CUCM, UCCX, Unity, Presence
  • CCNA Voice
  • Cisco UC cluster design experience
  • Dial Plan Design
  • General networking experience
  • Microsoft Teams Voice & Direct Dial experience
  • Experience work with Telecom providers to add services and troubleshoot issues
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to address conflict with other constructively
  • Ability to work some Night/Weekend as needed

 

Desired Skills:

 

  • Post qualified experience in Cisco Voice administration.
  • CCNP Voice.
  • Microsoft Teams Voice Integration experience.
  • Communication / interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with multiple levels of IT.
  • Successfully influences diverse groups and teams to deliver value-added solutions.
