Sales Support Specialist – Valtra

Homeworking position

A permanent vacancy has arisen in our Sales department for a Sales Support Specialist. This position will report to the Manager National Sales Valtra UK & Ireland. 

Duties will include: 

  • To provide field-based sales support by delivering sales training product presentations of features and benefits and conducting practical demonstrations

  • Conduct operator training

  • To introduce new products to internal colleagues, dealers and customers and the press

  • To communicate product improvements to the dealer network and internally

  • To conduct and arrange demonstrations both for dealers and at shows and events

  • To develop a training plan and deliver to the dealer network. 

  • To assist technical training as and when required

  • Compile and conduct competitive training sessions to include internal and dealer sales teams

  • Work closely with the A&SP Manager to plan and execute national shows and represent sales at these and other local /national shows and dealer events.

  • Arrange and manage factory visits


 The successful candidate should possess the following attributes: 

  • Agricultural background or good knowledge of Agricultural business across UK and Ireland.

  • Excellent knowledge of Valtra products.

  • Ability to work on own initiative, and to motivate self and others. 

  • Sales and Marketing skills and knowledge.

  • High-level PC expertise. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

  • Ability to communicate at all levels

  • Excellent time management
