Your Impact

• You will ensure timely preparation and submission of both UK and Overseas legal entity statutory reporting and tax returns, in accordance with local GAAP/ IFRS and other reporting standards
• You will be responsible for timely preparation and submission of regulatory and compliance reports & surveys, and support for cost centre budget preparation and monitoring
• You will complete VAT returns for assigned entities and prepare the corresponding paperwork for payment
• You will establish and manage strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, external auditors, external tax advisors and coordinate audits smoothly
• You will support the manager with common processes, and other adhoc projects to drive efficiency and quality improvements within team

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, CA, ACCA or CIMA) with hands-on experience in applying IFRSs for financial reporting
• Strong technical understanding of VAT, local GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS for financial reporting, including knowledge of overseas legislation and requirements
• Experience with statutory automation tools, including the use of RPA and AI
• Proficiency in using Workiva and advanced Excel skills, including pivots and formulas. SAP knowledge is a plus
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines while demonstrating strong teamwork skills
• Prior experience in auditing, particularly within large practice firms, would be an advantage
