VAT & Regulatory Reporting Accountant

Your Impact

• You will complete VAT returns for assigned entities and prepare the corresponding paperwork for payment
• You will prepare the related balance sheet reconciliations for VAT & Tax, and the related journals to clear the balance sheet reconciling items
• You will complete Intrastat reporting and other statutory and regulatory reporting
• You will establish and manage strong relationships with the tax team, external auditors and tax advisors 
• You will support the manager with common processes, and other adhoc projects to drive efficiency and quality improvements within team 

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, CA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Practical VAT and intrastat experience in an advisory, tax authority or industry role
• Experience in preparing and reviewing VAT returns including knowledge of overseas legislation and requirements
• Experience in dealing and managing stakeholders remotely
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
