We are seeking a highly motivated data science intern to assist in uncovering analytical insights, applying advanced methodologies, and developing forecasting models that support our Farmer First mission. Guided by our commitment to innovation, collaboration, and integrity, this role strengthens our data science capabilities and offers the opportunity to contribute to initiatives that can make a significant contribution to our company's success.
Your Impact:
- Gather, analyze, and visualize data to see how trends in one area impact others.
- Translate business questions into data‑driven workflows, hypothesis tests, and model evaluation tasks.
- Fine‑tune, monitor, and document forecasting and analytical model performance.
- Design data engineering frameworks to route disparate data sources into scalable forecasting pipelines.
- Enhance and centralize Dash applications into a centralized, scalable platform.
- Innovate on the front-end user experience to make complex models accessible to global business users.
Your Experience and Qualifications:
- Pursuing a graduate degree in data science or a related field.
- Proficiency in Time Series Analysis, Hypothesis Testing, and Correlation Analysis.
- Ability to translate concepts like “Retail Trends” or “Cash Flow” into mathematical variables.
- Familiarity with Python (Statsmodels, Scikit-learn) and Jupyter Notebooks.
- Experience with Plotly Dash, Streamlit, or web frameworks (Flask/Django).
- Experience designing pipelines and organizing code repositories (Git) for scalability.
- Passion for creating intuitive, user-friendly data tools.
