Job Summary

Manager- Aftersales Parts Sales & Marketing Aftersales, Reporting to Director - Aftersales - ANZ.

 

This position is responsible for managing and developing all aspects of Parts & Marketing to achieve sales budgets. Responsible for developing a strategy to sustain a profitable distribution network which delivers industry leading standards of AfterSales Parts support.

 

 

 

Job Responsibilities

• This role has major accountability for both Parts sales & Marketing business and must be capable of negotiating at the highest level within AGCO and AGCO’s distribution network, also with key external organisations.

• Responsible for Dealer Development team providing link between Aftersales Commercial & Dist Management functions.

• Co-ordination of ADP monitoring and development of Action Planning processes.

• To drive the change from traditional Parts Sales organisation to Aftersales Commercial, adopting the successful ADP model.

• Monitor sales, margin & service level performance and assign tasks to implement programs and initiatives to ensure objectives are met.

• Manage the product offering for assigned categories, maintaining parts data in line with the parts lifecycle management strategy.

• Manages Parts Category Managers and Customer Service on marketing initiatives.

• Works closely with Product Managers, Technical Support & Parts Functions to ensure the parts product offer is in line with wider business objectives – approving initial order process.

• Communicates with Dealers to monitor market activity, formulate strategy and ensure maximum value on all activities.

• Reviews market research carried out by the Category Managers to identify opportunities for new and existing products, primarily focusing on the optimal product offer to support AGCO branded machinery at varying lifecycle stages.

• Parts Manager to monitor cost & selling prices evaluating competitive environment and price positioning whilst delivering on sales and margin targets.

• Approves product marketing strategies including product positioning, promotion, advertising and distribution options.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Required

• Experience within manufacturing and / or agricultural industry

• Proven track record of database management and understanding of CRM

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to write copy, ideally of a technical nature, but not mandatory

• Experience in using Content Management Systems and managing web sites

• A high level of attention to details
