Supplier Quality Manager

In this role you will be able to work in a genuinely international environment with award-winning, high tech products. We are curious to seek out and develop new ideas in order to better serve our customers and employees, continuously improving what we do and how we do it. 

We are seeking a Supplier Quality Manager (SQM) to lead our local supplier quality team and coordinate between local and global supplier quality teams. Your main responsibilities will include conducting supplier audits, ensuring quality assurance for new parts in NPI (New Product Introduction) projects, monitoring and improving supplier quality performance, and resolving supplier quality issues in serial production. You will also lead local supplier quality development projects and work closely with global supplier quality teams, purchasing, engineering, technical service, production, and suppliers.
 

Your Impact

• Lead the local supplier quality team and coordinate with global teams.
• Conduct supplier audits and quality assurance activities for new parts in NPI projects.
• Monitor and develop supplier quality performance.
• Prevent and resolve supplier quality issues in serial production.
• Lead local supplier quality development projects.
• Collaborate with global supplier quality teams, purchasing, engineering, technical service, production, and suppliers.

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Excellent cooperation, negotiation, and management skills
• Over five years of experience in quality assurance in serial production or supply chain, with managerial experience
• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques, supply chain processes, and quality tools (PPAP elements, SAP)
• Familiarity with Lean methodologies
• Technical education (e.g., B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
• Proficiency in English and Finnish
