Supervisor, Machining & CMM

As the Supervisor of Machining & CMM at Valtra, you will be a key player in our high-quality, lean component manufacturing process. Your leadership will drive occupational safety, optimize production, and ensure the highest quality standards.

Your Impact

• Champion occupational safety and foster a robust safety culture.
• Oversee machining and turning operations in the Transmission plant, ensuring peak production and quality.
• Lead manufacturing and productivity enhancements through Lean principles.
• Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate spare part production.
• Collaborate with other departments such as Quality, Material Handling, R&D, and other key support functions.

You will report directly to the Senior Manager of the Transmission Plant.

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in machining.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and expertise in Lean manufacturing.
• Technical education or equivalent practical experience.
• Exceptional team management and motivational skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work hours as needed.
• Passion for fostering a Lean, standardized, and quality-focused culture.
• Excellent communication skills in both Finnish and English.
