In this role, you will identify and drive production development opportunities, improve safety, manufacturing flow, and product quality, and play a key role in the extension and re-design of the SUO Reman facility. You will utilize modern manufacturing technologies and methods to enhance factory performance and be responsible for implementing various production development and change projects that support future growth.    

 

Your Impact 

  • Identify and drive production development initiatives to improve safety, manufacturing flow, and product quality. 

  • Design process flows, production lines, and workstations to increase capacity and productivity. Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify improvement opportunities. Define root causes of production challenges and implement practical improvements.  

  • Lead and support the extension and re-design of the SUO Reman facility to enable future growth. Define building renovation requirements in collaboration with the landlord.  

  • Ensure that production and processes comply with AGCO’s 5S and safety standards. Verify investment needs and prepare Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs)  

  • Be responsible for the commissioning of new processes, equipment, and tools. Promote solutions that improve productivity, ergonomics, and occupational safety. 

 

Your Experience and Qualifications 

  • A suitable technical university degree (Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering) and technical expertise from the manufacturing industry. 

  • Experience in a production environment and in process and operational development (LEAN thinking is considered an asset). Experience in project management. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills, an analytical mindset, and a genuine desire to continuously improve existing operations, 2D and 3D modeling skills (e.g. AutoCAD, Creo Parametric) 

  • Knowledge of Siemens automation systems and the TIA Portal programming environment. 

  • Good written and spoken Finnish and English skills.

Your Workplace 

This role follows AGCO’s onsite work model, with employees primarily working from an AGCO location a minimum of 3 days per week to support collaboration and teamwork.
