We are looking for a

Controller   

to join our team in Suolahti 

What You Will do   

In this position, you will be responsible for the financial planning and controlling of after sales business, which consists of spare parts sales, sales of services and engine remanufacturing. In your role, you will participate in the month-end close in your respective area. You also prepare financial budgets and forecasts using business input and also track actual costs against the targets. You will be a business partner for the domestic sales organization and the regional after sales. This includes creating margin reports, investment calculations and various ad-hoc analyses according to business needs and making recommendations for decision making.  

As we are part of a stock listed company financial compliance (US GAAP, local GAAP, SOX Controls) matters are also very important in this role. You are a person who works systematically and bases decisions on facts. You are able to explain and prove your work to internal and external auditors.  

This position is located in Suolahti and in this role you will report to the Finance Director of Valtra Oy Ab but work also very closely with your colleagues in UK.   

We expect 

• Financial degree with working experience from similar role 

• Teamwork skills    

• MS Office (excel)   

• SAP experience is an advantage   

• Fluent Finnish and English
