As Project Engineer you are responsible for developing and maintaining the overall vehicle project during the vehicle life cycle. You have a key role supporting the CPM, NPI, Project Team and cross-functional team Core-team.
Your Impact:
- Coordinate the day-to-day industrialization tasks together with the factory MFG NPI teams. Ensure transparent and timely information flows to manufacturing, module and validation teams locally and globally
- Participate in process development for industrialization Support NPI project engineers during the releases of EBOM Ensure engineering solutions are implemented properly during industrialization (safety, efficiency) Supports the work to minimize the implementation time of the CPM ECNs
- Develop and negotiate mitigation strategies for potential project challenges. Escalate conflicts in case of missing timely resolutions.
- Understand the implementation process and responsibilities. Understand the implementation and correlations of mechanical, electrical, and software cases. Participate in rigorously determining root cause of failures, working together with the design and validation teams.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce guidelines for conducting effective reliability programs. Have in-depth understanding of Reliability Engineering Methods and Tools (AVT, PPR). Familiarize in the use of both PDM and ERP systems across different production locations.
- Make strong recommendation of preferred validation plan to project team backed up by financial data from the economic model together with PCO project engineer. Participate in determining best validation method and acceptance criteria Ensure that the resources required for Problem Solving are in effecting use and working methods are continuously improved.
Your Experience and Qualification:
- Min. 5 years of experience in an engineering role in preferably design and/or project management work.
- The person needs to have strong skills in Windchill and Creo to be able to conduct the studies. Expertise in AI tools in MS Office is considered beneficial. Basic Office IT skills are mandatory.
- Expertise in SAP systems is considered beneficial
- Understanding of the agricultural machinery industry as well as other similar industries like automotive is a plus to communicate with other departments.
- Proficiency in both English and Finnish is required.
