Do you want to help solve the world's most pressing challenges? Feeding the world's growing population and slowing climate change are two of the world's greatest challenges. AGCO is a part of the solution! Join us to make your contribution.

As Team Lead, Build Quality, you will lead a small team of quality professionals at our Transmission Plant in Suolahti. Your key responsibility is to ensure that build quality standards are consistently met and continuously improved throughout the transmission assembly process.
This is a supervisory position, reporting directly to the Manager, Build Quality. You will work in close collaboration with manufacturing and engineering teams, and interface with supplier quality when needed — always with the goal of supporting production in delivering high-quality products.

The Build Quality department plays a critical role in ensuring that every transmission unit meets AGCO’s quality expectations. The team works hands-on with production to identify issues early, solve problems efficiently, and drive continuous improvement across the build process.

Your Impact:
  • Team Leadership & Build Quality Oversight: Lead and support a small inspection team focused on ensuring that assembled products meet internal specifications and build quality standards throughout the transmission production process. Collaborate with the Manager, Build Quality to plan inspection activities, allocate resources effectively, and support production teams in achieving high-quality outcomes.
  • Issue Resolution & Compliance: Communicate product quality issues across departments for timely resolution. Oversee the handling of non-conforming products, including data collection, return processes, and participation in material review boards. Coordinate equipment calibration with the manager or designated personnel.
  • Training & Daily Operations: Ensure proper onboarding and continuous training of inspection staff, including the use of specialized tools such as the Romer arm. Organize and prioritize daily tasks to meet departmental goals and production timelines.
  • Process Improvement & Project Leadership: Adapt inspection procedures, techniques, and tools to meet specific product and process requirements. Contribute to the documentation and implementation of SOPs. Independently manage complex tasks and lead projects related to product inspection and reverse engineering measurements.
  • Collaboration & Agile Participation: Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Actively participate in agile ceremonies such as Product Increment Planning, Sprint Planning, Refinements, Reviews, and Retrospectives. Ensure compliance with AGCO guidelines and control processes.

Your Experience and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience and/or training in Quality and/or Manufacturing, with specialized knowledge in inspection processes and procedures.
  • Associate’s degree or applicable quality certifications (e.g. ISO, Six Sigma, CQI) preferred.
  • Proficient in both Finnish and English
  • Please submit your application/CV in English.
