About the Job: 

In this role, you will focus on developing state of the art computer vision and automation technology to agriculture in on-equipment field environments.   You'll be a part of fast paced teams developing software to deliver the next generation of sensing, control, and automation, and user display capabilities to our 20|20 system for mobile agriculture equipment.   

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Hands-on developing C++ embedded linux application software for computer vision and machine control, sensing, and monitoring applications 

  • Turn proof-of-concept ideas into production-quality products 

  • Opportunities to develop on agricultural equipment and experience our products first-hand 

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering 

  • Very good programming skills in C++ in embedded environment and "hands-on" experience working with complex embedded software solution/design 

  • Strong communication skills and experience being a flexible team player 

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Experience developing C++ code for a commercial Computer Vision application 

  • Experience in robotics, machine control, and embedded system development 

  • Experience working with multi-threaded and near real-time systems 

  • Working knowledge of inter-process communication methods (such as Protobuf, DDS, ZeroMQ, shared memory, etc). 

  • Hands on experience with Yocto, Kernel configuration, Boot loaders, Device Trees, and Cross compiling.
