Digital Marketing Manager

 

 Position Overview

Precision Planting is a leading provider of planting and harvest technology in the Precision Ag Industry. We design innovative products that solve yield-robbing issues for farmers. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as the Digital Marketing Manager. This individual will be responsible for leading our digital marketing efforts and the digital marketing team.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage a small team of people focused on our digital presence - website, search presence, social media, email, and digital advertising.

  • Be a working leader - with a small team, you will have both leadership and tactical responsibilities as you grow the team.

  • Managing, guiding, and training the digital marketing team and motivating them to achieve their goals.  Also lead the hiring and firing of employees on the team, as needed.

  • Build our global digital marketing roadmap by planning, developing, implementing and managing the overall digital marketing strategy.

  • Work with an agency on planning, make sure plans are executed and creative/posts/emails are updated/sent.

  • Develop, monitor, and report key performance metrics. Work to align metrics to business outcomes.

  • Create a working environment that is in line with Precision Planting’s culture and leadership principles.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with Precision Planting sales team and Precision Planting dealers.

  • Develop strategies for both corporate digital promotions as well as dealer digital marketing strategies.

  • Manage and improve online content, using the latest tools and strategies to execute exceptionally.

  • Monitor and stand out above the competition.

  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology developments.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree

  • 5+ years experience in digital marketing

  • Excellent people and time management skills

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

  • Highly motivated

  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite -- Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

  • Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns

  • Strong understanding of how current digital marketing channels function

  • Management Experience Preferred
