About the Job:  

This position is responsible for providing a comprehensive HR partnership for the Global Precision Planting business.  This individual will provide leadership for all functional HR activities, work closely with business leadership by providing HR expertise, acting as a strategic partner on all key HR initiatives, employee relations and employee/leadership development activities.  This role is responsible for the overall HR strategy for Precision Planting. 

   

Responsibilities: 

  • Act as a business partner to the Precision Planting business 

  • Define and manage the talent acquisition strategy and implement processes. 

  • Define and implement talent management strategy to ensure retention, recruitment, and development of top talent. 

  • Provide ongoing coaching and consultation to people managers. 

  • Lead a team of HR professionals that support the business. 

  • Ensure effective leadership and operational excellence of all basic HR processes including performance reviews, incentive planning and talent reviews/succession planning.  

  • Lead, support and develop HR staff as business partners in support of the company strategy and objectives. 

  • Perform and lead HR due diligence for M&A within Precision Planting. 

  • Manage Precision Planting staffing and headcount budget. 

  • Support leadership in cultivating our company culture.  

   

What must I have?  

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required.  

  • 8-12 years of Human Resources experience  

  • Global HR experience 

  • 2-4 years of Global HR Business Partner experience

  • Functional knowledge of HR practices, policies, practices, and programs.  

  • Experience coaching and providing leadership development across multiple levels  

  • Able to maintain and build trust along with the demonstrated ability to protect and preserve confidential information.  

  • Strong communication and presentation skills including the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.  

  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills.  

  • Ability to analyze information and make decisions quickly and accurately.  

  • Solid understanding of HR policies/procedures, as well as local, state and federal employment laws.  

  • Flexible and able to respond quickly to changing job demands and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
