We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Generalist to support our Precision Planting business across sites in Morton, IL and Tremont, IL. The organization believes in empowering farmers through innovative, impactful solutions while fostering a culture of trust, respect, and continuous improvement. We’re seeking a collaborative and adaptable HR Generalist to join our team and help drive a positive employee experience. This role supports our mission to prioritize people by managing key HR functions such as employee engagement, development and retention. You’ll contribute to a high-performance culture that emphasizes autonomy, clarity, and personal accountability.
Your Impact
- Employee Relations & Engagement
- Be a trusted resource for employees, fostering relationships rooted in collaboration and accountability.
- Guide managers and team members in resolving challenges while maintaining alignment with our culture and behavioral principles.
- Champion initiatives that reinforce Precision Planting’s culture of autonomy and continuous learning.
- Compliance & HR Operations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor regulations, promoting clarity and transparency in HR processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and support global HR standards in partnership with Agco.
- Drive continuous improvement in HR operations by identifying and implementing effective solutions.
- Onboarding
- Lead the full-cycle recruitment process, prioritizing clarity in communication with candidates and hiring managers.
- Deliver an exceptional onboarding experience, equipping new hires with the tools and knowledge needed to thrive.
- Partner with leadership to attract individuals who align with our principles of trust and respect.

- Support benefits programs, ensuring employees have clarity and accessibility to resources.
- Respond to questions and support employees in navigating wellness and leave programs.
- Support annual open enrollment and explore ways to enhance the employee benefits experience.
- Learning, Development & Retention
- Partner with managers to identify opportunities for team members to grow in their roles and develop new skills.
- Create engagement strategies that reflect our commitment to clarity, ownership, and meaningful work.
- Lead employee surveys and utilize feedback to foster a workplace that thrives on trust and respect.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-5 years of HR experience, ideally within an innovative environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with a solution orientation.

Your Compensation
This position will pay within the range of $54,797-$110,000, based on experience. This position is eligible for a bonus based on 7% of compensation.

Your Workplace
You will work primarily onsite in our Tremont facility to team up with your wonderful AGCO colleagues in person. And you will have the opportunity to travel to the Morton location as well.
