This individual will be responsible for working with the Precision Planting marketing team and employees in regions outside of North America to build strategies to ensure the Precision Planting brand is known, relevant, and consistent


Primary Responsibilities

  • This role will be based out of Tremont, IL

  • Understand Precision Planting’s approach, culture, branding, and messaging

  • Understand the farmers that we serve in various global markets

  • Be the champion of the Precision Planting brand outside of North America to ensure that Precision Planting is known and relevant in key markets

  • Work with teams in Europe, South America, Asia, and Africa to develop and implement marketing strategies and tactics

  • Ensure that Precision Planting branding standards are maintained throughout the world

  • Work with marketing agencies around the world as needed

  • Execute farmer and segment research studies to help support marketing efforts

  • Establish KPI’s for marketing campaigns

  • Monitor market trends in key markets

  • Usher new products (with Product Development) from concept to commercial sales and communicate progress, obstacles and timelines to stakeholders as needed

  • Work with the events team on farm show strategies and messaging

  • Handle PR duties for the various regions

  • Benchmark competitive product/media strategies to understand the market well


Required Skills/Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in agriculture or equipment marketing

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Ability to influence teams and provide recommendations

  • Excellent project management skills - able to work within complex matrix teams

  • Successful experience in a team environment

  • Strong analytical, business partnering, consulting, influencing and process skills

  • Willingness to accommodate global time zones for meetings

  • Willingness to travel globally as needed

  • Ability to lead people in the future
