We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Event Intern to join our team!  This hands-on internship offers the opportunity to assist in planning, coordinating, and executing key events. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and eager to gain experience in event coordination within the agriculture industry.

Interns on the marketing team at Precision Planting will get real world work experience and will contribute to the success of the campaigns and events that they are working on throughout the duration of their internship.  The intern will have a major focus area for the internship to work with a specific discipline of the marketing team intensively and will be provided exposure and experience to the broader functions of the team. 

Your Impact

• The intern will have a major focus area for the internship to work with a specific discipline of the marketing team intensively and will be provided exposure and experience to the broader functions of the team. 

• The intern will assist with the planning and execution of our Summer Field Days in Pontiac, IL, including onsite logistics and coordination. 
• Support the team in organizing the Summer Agronomy Conference, contributing to event setup, scheduling, materials preparation, and general logistics. 
• Help with the planning and setup of our Farm Progress Show booth, including pre-event coordination, onsite setup and tear down. 
• Perform other duties as assigned, which may include administrative tasks, vendor communication, and general event support. 

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

• Willingness to travel to event sites and work outdoors as needed. 

• Passion for events and interest in the agriculture industry is a plus. 

Additional Information: 

• This is a paid internship; $18/hour - $22/hour

• Transportation to event locations outside of Tremont, IL, will be provided.  

• Some evening or weekend work may be required during events
