About the Role: 

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as the Product Marketing Specialist. This individual will be responsible for being a product and agronomy expert, and translating that knowledge into the actionable promotion of the Precision Planting brand and products. 


What would I be doing? 


  • Know the full extent of the Precision Planting product line and its capabilities and compatibilities 

  • Understand agronomy and the agronomic positioning of our brand and products and can articulate this value in a simple way to the marketing team, dealers, and customers 

  • Contribute to the messaging of the Precision Planting brand, including writing copy for ads, scripts, and brochures

  • Be featured in videos doing agronomic and product teaching, explanation, and promotions 

  • Assists with the writing and development of marketing collateral 

  • Assists the digital media team with lining up and executing photo and video shoots 

  • Uploads and tags digital assets into a digital asset management system for use by the team 

  • Reviews and writes agronomic and product content to be featured in owned media properties 

  • Creates and executes marketing presentations for dealers and customers 

  • Assists the Farm Show Manager with event planning and execution from a product side 

  • Maintains the show stand library and the marketing team planter that is used for shows and plots

  • Helps to maintain up to date assets for farm show usage 

  • Can take complex products and agronomic teachings and simplify them into simple to understand messages to reach current and potential Precision Planting customers 

  • Be involved in creating, leading, and executing an onboarding process for new dealers 

  • Ensure that dealers know the co-op program and are provided ways to utilize the co-op program 



What Must I have? 

●        3+ years experience in agriculture sales, marketing, or technical fields 

●        Excellent people and time management skills 

●        Excellent communication skills, written and verbal 

●        Highly motivated 

●        Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite -- Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook 

●        Demonstrable experience in communicating a complex product or agronomic principles 

●        Strong understanding of the crop production industry
