We are seeking a highly organized and proactive R&D Shop Operations Lead to oversee the daily operations of our Research & Development shop. This role is essential in ensuring efficiency, organization, and functionality within the shop, supporting our engineering and research teams in their innovation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:

Inventory & Supply Management: Order and maintain necessary supplies, tools, and equipment to ensure seamless operations.

Shop Organization: Encourage and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace for technicians and engineers while balancing the need for high velocity and throughput in a product development environment.

Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on shop equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Project Support: Assist engineers and technicians with prototype assembly, testing, and modifications.

Safety & Compliance: Proactively identify and correct potential safety hazards to maintain a safe work environment.

Vendor Coordination: Work with suppliers and vendors to procure materials and manage deliveries.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance shop efficiency and workflow.
Qualifications:

Experience in shop management, inventory control, or equipment maintenance.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and technicians.

Knowledge of mechanical systems and tools.

Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.

Your Compensation
This position will pay within the range of $49,152-$94,171, based on experience.
