We are seeking a highly organized and proactive R&D Shop Operations Lead to oversee the daily operations of our Research & Development shop.  This role is essential in ensuring efficiency, organization, and functionality within the shop, supporting our engineering and research teams in their innovation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory & Supply Management: Order and maintain necessary supplies, tools, and equipment to ensure seamless operations.

• Shop Organization: Encourage and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace for technicians and engineers while balancing the need for high velocity and throughput in a product development environment.

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on shop equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Project Support: Assist engineers and technicians with prototype assembly, testing, and modifications.

• Safety & Compliance: Proactively identify and correct potential safety hazards to maintain a safe work environment.

• Vendor Coordination: Work with suppliers and vendors to procure materials and manage deliveries.

• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance shop efficiency and workflow.

Qualifications:

• Experience in shop management, inventory control, or equipment maintenance.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and technicians.

• Knowledge of mechanical systems and tools.

• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.

Your Compensation

This position will pay within the range of $49,152-$94,171, based on experience.
