About the Job:

 

The Sr. Data Scientist will focus on developing solutions which apply cutting edge artificial intelligence and machine learning technology to new on-equipment precision agriculture products.

 

Responsibilities:

This is a pivotal role in collaborating with data scientists, data engineers, computer vision engineers, embedded and C++ software developers to create, advance, and deploy ML models for real-time edge and cloud computer vision applications.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or equivalent
  • 10+ years in applied machine learning data science
  • Experience applying machine learning techniques to computer vision applications
  • Familiarity with collaborative development workflow and version control systems (ie., Git)
  • Proficient in Python, with experience in libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib
  • Self-driven with strong organizational skills
  • Proven ability to mentor and guide team members, fostering a supportive team environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to relocate to the Peoria/Bloomington, IL area
