As the Vice President of Global Supply Chain for PTx—a $850M business unit targeted to be a $2B business by 2029—you’ll lead the global supply chain strategy and execution across operations, procurement, planning, logistics, and third-party logistics (3PL). Reporting to the SVP/GM of PTx and with a dotted line to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, you’ll serve as a key member of both the PTx Leadership Team and AGCO’s Supply Chain Leadership Team.
You’ll directly oversee five global manufacturing sites (Morton, IL; Fargo, ND; Winnipeg, ON; Salzkotten and Neustadt, Germany), leading all aspects of production, planning, procurement, and logistics. You’ll drive a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement while ensuring cost, quality, and delivery goals are met. This role requires global oversight and a strong foundation in operations, supply chain, distribution, and finance.

Strategic Leadership & Operations Oversight

Develop and execute global operations and supply chain strategy aligned with PTx and AGCO objectives.

Own full CAPEX and OPEX responsibilities across five global manufacturing sites.

Lead cross-functional initiatives to drive growth, profitability, and transformation.

Champion innovation, automation, and continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Procurement, Planning & Logistics

Lead global procurement strategy, including supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.

Oversee planning and logistics, including demand and supply planning, risk mitigation, and digital transformation initiatives.

Make strategic make vs. buy decisions in close collaboration with AGCO partners.

Performance, Compliance & Shared Services

Define and implement global KPIs to drive efficiency, quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.

Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality shared services across regions.

Mitigate risks and maintain regulatory and policy compliance across the supply chain network.

Financial & Business Impact

Align financial planning with strategic priorities to maximize ROI on operations and supply chain investments.

Identify cost-reduction opportunities through process optimization, automation, and better resource allocation.

Partner with senior leadership to deliver measurable value and support scalability.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing global team.

Foster collaboration across internal teams and external partners.

Act as a change leader, driving adoption of new technologies and ways of working.

Represent PTx Operations within AGCO’s global leadership teams to advocate for strategic initiatives and investment.

Your Experience and Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree
-
15+ years of manufacturing experience within global organizations, ideally in the industrial sector

Proven leadership experience with a history of managing high-performing teams

Strong industry, product, and competitive knowledge, with a solid understanding of manufacturing systems (e.g., ERP, MES), lean tools, and quality systems

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
Your Compensation
This position will pay within the range of $171,270 - $355,641 for US-based employees, based on experience. This position is eligible for a bonus based on 35% of compensation.
