Product Support Specialist

​​The Product Support Specialist is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by providing advanced technical support to dealers and end-users of the PTx product line. This role will collaborate with R&D in assisting with new product launches. This role will also lead dealer training, assist at trade shows, and create PTx publications.​ 

Your Impact 

• Handle grower and dealer support calls during and after office hours, respond to online ticket inquiries, and make on-site service visits when remote support is insufficient. 

• Collaborate with R&D to communicate field issues, contribute to product development, and support go-to-market strategies for new product launches. 

• Lead training sessions for dealers and at conferences, assist with Planter Technology Institution events, and work on projects to enhance customer experience and training effectiveness. 

• Create and edit technical content such as manuals, bulletins, and knowledge base articles to support product use and troubleshooting. 

• Set up and staff for trade show booths, maintain and rebuild planters for demos and training, and analyze field/test plot data for marketing and research purposes.  

Your Experience and Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Systems Technology, Agronomy, or equivalent experience. 3+ years in Precision Ag support or 5+ years in related product support. 

• Hands-on familiarity and experience in agriculture practices and equipment. 

• Strong writing, editing, and presentation abilities, with a creative approach to content and messaging. 

• Comfortable and effective in presenting to large groups. 

• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical and operational issues. 

​​Your Compensation 

​This position will be within the range of $54,797 - $110,000 based on experience. This position is eligible for a bonus based on 8% compensation.​
