Job Summary
The Product Support Specialist is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by providing advanced technical support to dealers and end-users of the PTx product line. This role will collaborate with R&D in assisting with new product launches. This role will also lead dealer training, assist at trade shows, and create PTx publications
Your Impact
- Handle calls from growers and dealers and respond to online support tickets during both regular office hours and an after-hours rotation.
- Address a range of issues including installation, in-field operation, and breakdowns for agricultural products.
- Travel to customer locations for complex issues that cannot be resolved remotely or by a local dealer.
- Communicate customer feedback and future needs to the R&D team and collaborate on the go-to-market process for new products.
- Lead and execute projects focused on enhancing the customer experience, streamlining processes, and improving training effectiveness.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree. (nice to have agricultural field) and 3-5+ years of experience in technical support for precision agriculture equipment is required.
- Create and edit technical publications (manuals, bulletins, knowledge base articles) and lead both introductory and advanced dealer training sessions, as well as breakout sessions at PTx conferences.
- Manage the set-up, tear-down, and staffing of show booths at various regional and national trade shows and assist with presentations at Planter Technology Institution events.
- Rebuild and maintain planters for trade shows, testing, and training, which includes the installation of all associated products.
- Compile, analyze, and report on test plot and field data to support the marketing and research and development of products.
