​​The IT Developer III role is responsible for developing and implementing functionality across a specific set of products in the IoT software portfolio. They will be involved in the entire lifecycle of the product(s), following an Agile and DevOps focused development process. This will include developing the functionality for both new products, as well as maintaining existing products and ensuring alignment with technical long-term roadmaps as laid out by architects and product managers. 

 

Your Impact 

  • Develop and document secure code following best design practices based on provided requirements.   
  • Utilize a DevOps tool stack to build, inspect, deploy, test, and promote new or updated features.   
  • Provide production support for applications to ensure uptime.   
  • Actively participate in Agile team ceremonies, including planning, grooming, product demonstrations, and team retrospectives.   
  • Monitor and address issues promptly to maintain high internal customer satisfaction and meet required service level performance measures through successful resolution of requests, issues, and changes.
     

Your Experience and Qualifications 

  • Educational and Foundational Experience: A Bachelor's Degree is required, coupled with at least 6 years of direct software development experience.   
  • Extensive Software Development Expertise: Candidates must have 6+ years of experience in developing scalable software systems. This includes a strong grasp of both front-end and back-end technologies such as .NET/C#, at least one modern front-end framework (like React or Vue.js), unit test frameworks, and SQL Databases (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL).   
  • Full-Stack & API Proficiency: This role demands full-stack development capabilities and a solid understanding of, and experience with, RESTful APIs, along with Postman knowledge.   
  • DevOps & Architecture Awareness: A basic understanding of containerization (e.g., Docker) and continuous integration tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bamboo) is necessary. Experience working with software design frameworks and architectures (like MVC, MVVM) is also expected.   
  • Agile Methodology: An understanding of Agile software methodologies is required.

Your Compensation    

This position will be within the range of $83000-$122,600, based on experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive plan and bonus based on 7% of compensation
