Solutions for Every Season. We engineer and deliver precision agriculture hardware, software, and cloud-based platforms that connect every corner of the farm.

Autonomous and precision agriculture is transforming how we grow more with less effort, reduce environmental impact, and address labor shortages while supporting sustainable growth. If you are excited by the opportunity to help shape the future of agricultural machinery, this could be the role for you.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the verification and validation of autonomous and highly automated machines for agricultural applications. In this role, you will help ensure that PTx systems are safe, reliable, and operate as intended.

We are looking for someone with strong technical skills, sound judgment, and a practical, hands-on approach to solving complex engineering challenges.

Your Impact

  • Develop and execute test plans for bringing autonomous agricultural machinery to market.
  • Verify control systems for agricultural mobile machines, including embedded and ROS-based systems, through both simulation (in-office) and in-field testing.
  • Validate autonomy applications to ensure products meet customer needs and perform effectively in the intended environments.
  • Identify, log, and communicate system issues during testing, acting as a key liaison between farming operations and the development team.
  • Support commissioning of new machines and test systems, and write, review, and carry out test procedures in collaboration with product support teams.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Degree in Agricultural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering; equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
  • 2+ years of experience in a verification and validation role, preferably within agricultural or automotive applications.
  • Proven ability to develop, organize, and execute test plans, including analyzing test data and producing detailed reports.
  • Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, hydraulics, and low-voltage electrical systems, with strong troubleshooting and self-directed learning capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work against high-level objectives, and willingness to travel up to 30% within North America; valid driver’s license required.

Your Benefits

  • Three (3) weeks of vacation per year.
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan offering eligible employees the ability to purchase AGCO stock at a discounted price.
  • Group retirement plan with employer match.
  • Group insurance paid at 75% by the employer.
  • Employee Assistance Program.

You will collaborate closely with PTx colleagues in Winnipeg, Canada, in an onsite environment that supports hands-on testing, teamwork, and innovation.
