The Pricing & Programs Manager will be responsible for managing the pricing and programs function for key Whole goods product segments (~$0.5B) inside of AGCO’s North America region. Additionally, this role will take lead in developing pricing strategies and programs, which directly affect each dealer’s ability to sell products and AGCO’s ability to drive orders in a timely fashion to minimize disruption to plants. The Pricing & Programs Manager will collaborate closely with AGCO’s Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to deliver increased market share and improved profitability via the optimization of whole goods and component pricing and programs. Success in this role requires an analytical, influential, driven professional who enjoys working cross functionally.          

 

Your Impact:  

  • Considering all strategic levers: business economics, customer market, dealer network, competition, and strategic market share and margin goals, set pricing targets and competitive position for assigned product segments  

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing on market and competitive analysis, as well as future product pricing  

  • Develop, execute and measure pricing actions, discount program releases, and order writing initiatives    

  • Analyze product profitability, identify margin-improvement opportunities and calculate impact of pricing and program actions in financial statements  

  • Evaluate and approve Special Pricing Requests and national account pricing 

 

Your Experience and Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Business, Mathematics, Economics, or other analytical/quantitative major   

  • A minimum of 5 years of post-collegiate professional work experience in a business setting with minimally 2 years being in a quantitatively and project focused position   

  • A minimum of 2 years of business-related financial analysis experience (ie. breakeven analysis, business case development, margin analysis)   

  • 3+ years of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint, specifically experience with pivot tables, power pivot, IF statements, VLOOKUPS, macros, creating charts, tables, and graphs   

  • Nice to have: Exposure to Microsoft Access, Salesforce, and Tableau and CPP (Certified Pricing Professional)
